Day 01. Kalibaru / Banyuwangi – Meru Betiri National Park – Sukamade Tour (L, D)

– Depart to Rajekwesi Beach (1st stop on the tour) then we stop at the gate of Meru Betiri National Park, continue by walking to Rajekwesi fishermen village (500 – 750 m) and having Lunch and rests on Rajekwesi food stall.

  • Continue the trip to sukamade guest house ( the most difficult one, four wheel drive vehicle mostly recommended) and stop at Teluk Damai (literally translated means “PEACE BAY”). It’s possible and recommended walking on jungle road from the flat point to security post ( haft to one hour walk).
  • Visit the plantation factory of coffee,cocoa,rubber (the crops are can be seen on the way to sukamade) and continue visit the Sukamade plantation village (Afdeling).
  • Arrive at the guest house, take a shower, rest until dinner time. Dinner on Sukamade Guest house. Depart to Sukamade Beach by jeep (5 km).
  • Stop at Turtle hatchery or Park Ranger Office (possible to see the turtle hatchlings all the time of year). Walk to the beach (800 m) and sitting on the beach wait for the signals from park ranger who search for the turtle (Not allowed to smoke, turn on the flashlight, loud talking or making any loud noises). If we are lucky to find the turtle and watch the wonderful processing of laying eggs, we go back to guest house and have nice dream.

Day 02. Sukamade Tour Package – Banyuwangi / Kalibaru (B,L)

Wake up in the morning to witness baby turtle return to ocean. Breakfast on Sukamade Guest House. Check out and depart to Banyuwangi or Ketapang stop by at Rajegwesi beach. Drop at the hotel or Ketapang harbour. End of Tour. See you next time.

    Day 01. Yogyakarta / Surabaya – Transfer to Bromo (B)

    Morning after breakfast or earlier at 08. 00 am, check out, drive to Bromo Tengger Semeru National park area (9 – 10 hours drive – including stop at Solo). On the way stop by at Solo to visit Mangkunegaran palace (Optional), another last remaining Javanese culture center in Java. Extra visit to Triwindhu antique market.(Optional). Late afternoon or evening arrive at Cemoro Lawang village in Bromo area. Check in at hotel and free program. Tour Duration : 377 km

    Day 02. Sunrise Pananjakan – Mt Bromo Crater – Kalibaru (B)

    Early morning at 4 am, by 4WD jeep pass through shimmering sea of sand, drive to Mt. Pananjakan (2, 775 meter ASL). It is a great spot to enjoy spectacular sunrise. Trip then continued by riding on a horse back (Optional) to climb up till the rim of Mt. Bromo crater. Upon completion of Bromo Tour, return to hotel for breakfast and packing up, and checkout.     Day 03. Kalibaru – Sukamade Turtle Beach (B,L,D)

    Breakfast at hotel, pack up and check out form hotel. Depart to Sukamade with lunch en-route. Visit Rajekwesi beach. Along the way, you may see endless plantation of coffee, cacao, and traditional rubber tapping. You may even travel through dense Meru Betiri National Forest where the last Javanese tigers are still believed to roam the area. Stop at Teluk damai (Peace Bay and its possible and recommend to walk on the jungle road (half to one hour walk). Upon arrival at Sukamade, check in at simple guest house. Evening after simple dinner at the guesthouse, proceed to the Sukamade Beach for the Turtle excursion (sightings are not guaranteed). See the turtles slowly walk up ashore to lay their eggs. Upon completion back to the guesthouse for overnight. Tour Duration : 80 – 108 km

    Day 05. Ijen Trekking – Transfer out Surabaya or Ketapan Harbour (B)

    At 1 am (recommended time) by 4WD jeep from hotel depart to Ijen ranger post (1 – 1. 5 hour). Start light trekking up to get to Ijen crater. Ijen crater is a gigantic crater and is measured 1 km in diameter and 175 meter in depth. Finished this unforgettable trip (around 9 am), transfer to Ketapang ferry port to take ferry to cross to Bali island. End of service. Tour Duration : 95 km

      Day 1 Pangkalanbun – Kumai – Tanjung Puting

      Upon arrival at Pangkalan Bun Airport, you will be picked up by our guide and transferred to Kumai. Boat up the river to explore the great mangrove, nipah palm, and wildlife along the Sekonyer river while lunch is prepared on the boat. Late afternoon, observe the proboscis monkey and other primates along the river. The boat is traditional boat wooden river boat about 14 m x 2,5m with roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by.       After breakfast, 4d3n Orangutan Tanjung Puting Trip will be continued by boat up the river to Camp Leakey. It is a research center where the older orangutans are reintroduced to the rain forest. After that, you may take soft trekking in the rainforest to spot other wildlife. Go back to the boat for lunch and then see the orangutans being fed around 2 pm. Overnight on the boat. (B, L, D).

      Day 3 Pondok Tangguy – Pesalat – Tanjung HarapanOrangutan

      After breakfast, boat down the river to Pondok Tangguy which is a rehabilitation center for the ex-captive orangutans and see feeding time around 9 am. Continue to Pesalat where you will have the opportunity to trek in the forest to observe the wildlife and see reforestation project. You can also plant a baby tree there. In the afternoon, visit Tanjung Harapan rehabilitation center to witness another feeding time around 3 pm. After that, you may visit a village near the national park.
