Safari Diving in Flores

Safari Diving in Flores – “Three Days National Geographic”

Our boat is perfectly suited for multiple-day dive safaris with small groups of three to six people. Apart from diving the best sites in the park, we like to combine this safari with a trip to Rinca and a sunset at Kalong, a small mangrove island where at that time of day flying foxes take off by the thousands.

Our standard safari program includes:

Labuan Bajo Diving

Day 1:

  • Depart from Labuan Bajo
  • 2 dives
  • Sunset at Kalong
  • Nightdive (if possible, depending on conditions)
  • Overnight near Rinca

Day 2:

  • Trekking on Rinca
  • 3 dives (depending on the lenght of Rinca walk)
  • Overnight near Gili Lawa Laut (north-east Komodo)

Day 3:

  • 3 or 4 dives
  • Arrival in Labuan Bajo

The exact dive program depends on the tides, weather and season, as well as on the abilities and wishes of the divers. We will do our utmost to create a program that suits.

Safari Diving FloresThe service on safari is the same as on our daytrips, with added sleeping facilities (mattress, pillow and light sleeping bag), dinner on days 1 and 2, and breakfast on days 2 and 3.
