Climbing Merbabu for Sunrise.

Next to the well-known Merapi is laying a twin mountain called Merbabu. In opposite of the Merapi the Merbabu is not active and also provides a beautiful sunrise. Starting your climb in the evening, makes it possible to enjoy an incredible sun rise at the top of Merbabu. For this Climbing Merbabu for Sunrise tour you will be picked up for your transfer to the base Camp (around 1 hour from Yogyakarta) and before you start your climb up on this amazing mountain.  After administration at the base camp and introduction with your guides (they will give you some guidelines for during this trip) your hike can begin. Under very experienced guides you will hike to the top in the dark in around 5 hours. Hiking in the dark gives you beautiful views from the lights of the villages in the valley. Quickly your attention will be needed for your hike all the way up to the top. After a hiking up the hardest route path heading for peak in early morning 4.30 am, a stunning view waits. A sunrise with volcano backgrounds, beautiful view on the volcano Merapi at one side, and looking down a green valley and hilly mountains.
