Karimunjawa Bromo Tour Day 01. Arrival Semarang – Jepara

Welcome to Semarang Airport, our staff will pick you up and transfer you to Jepara. Check in hotel. Free program (Optional: Start from Yogyakarta city or at an extra day in Semarang).

Day 02. Jepara – Karimunjawa (B)

Early breakfast and check out off the hotel before we leave Semarang and go to Jepara harbour. From here we leave by fast boat to Karimunjawa Islands. Upon arrival in Karimunjawa islands, our staff will bring you to the accommodation for check in. Free program. Possible and optional activities are; half day snorkeling, cycling, kayaking, trekking to Karimunjawa’s highest point or the beach to enjoy sunset.

Day 03. Karimunjawa (B,L)

Today whole day Island hopping around Karimunjawa. The boat will make several stops, where you get the opportunity to go for snorkeling, swimming and for enjoying the white sandy beaches. Feel like you are in paradise. Enjoy the fresh fish barbecue which will be prepare for you for lunch. Before dark, back to the main Island, free program.

Day 04. Karimunjawa – Jepara (B)

After breakfast, prepare to leave Karimunjawa by fast boat. Arrival in Jepara, Java’s main land. Check in hotel and relax. Free program

Karimunjawa Bromo Tour Day 05. Jepara – Bromo (B)

Today we leave central Java and will continue to East Java. After a long drive (7-8 hours) we will arrive at Bromo area in the afternoon. Take a stroll through the small village or just relax at the hotel. Take a early night rest as it the next morning we will go for Bromo Sunrise.

Day 06. Bromo – Surabaya (B)

Early morning call, as we take you by jeep to Bromo’s viewpoint. From where you can enjoy one of the best sunrises in Indonesia. After the sun came up we leave the viewpoint and drive back through the sea of sand. One last stop is made. Climb the stairs of Bromo to see an amazing panoramic view. You will be able to look into the big crater. After this stop, back to the hotel for breakfast, packing and check out. Time to say Bromo area goodbye. Transfer out to Surabaya.

Optional: Stop at Madakariupra waterfall on your way back to Surabaya.

Day 1: Arrival Surabaya – Transfer Bromo

Pick up in Surabaya (+/- 22.30), you will meet our driver who brings you to Bromo area (around 4 hour driver). Check in homestay / hotel.

Day 2: Bromo Tour – Surabaya (B)

Early in the morning we will go to make an excursion to the MT. Bromo. We will drive first to the Mountain Pananjakan which has an excellent view for making pictures of the sunrise. After the sunrise we will drive to the Mountain Bromo through the sea of sand. This will be done by jeep. We will stop to at the foot of the Bromo. Visit Pura Luhur temple. After a little climb and 246 steps you will reach the rim of the mountain which gives you a great view (this will be depending on the activity of the Volcano). When you are finished we will go back to your hotel for breakfast. After checking out we will drive back to Surabaya. Possible to visit Madakaripura Waterfall in the way (optional activity). End of tour.

    Ijen Crater

    Blue fire or blue fire Kawah Ijen Banyuwangi, East Java is a rare phenomenon that only has two in the world. Apart from only being in Ijen Crater Banyuwangi, this blue fire phenomenon is found in Iceland. This rare blue fire phenomenon can of course only be seen at night.

    It is also interesting to see inn Ijen Crater, the activity of miners who carry tens of kilograms of sulfur. Their efforts are so much highlighted by the media at home and abroad.     Even now Mount Ijen Nature Park and Alas Purwo National Park, Banyuwangi, East Java have been designated as World Biosphere Reserves by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The two biological sites are incorporated in the Blambangan Biosphere Reserve along with Meru Betiri National Park and Baluran National Park, which are in line with Banyuwangi.

    Day 01. Kalibaru / Banyuwangi – Meru Betiri National Park – Sukamade Tour (L, D)

    – Depart to Rajekwesi Beach (1st stop on the tour) then we stop at the gate of Meru Betiri National Park, continue by walking to Rajekwesi fishermen village (500 – 750 m) and having Lunch and rests on Rajekwesi food stall.

    • Continue the trip to sukamade guest house ( the most difficult one, four wheel drive vehicle mostly recommended) and stop at Teluk Damai (literally translated means “PEACE BAY”). It’s possible and recommended walking on jungle road from the flat point to security post ( haft to one hour walk).
    • Visit the plantation factory of coffee,cocoa,rubber (the crops are can be seen on the way to sukamade) and continue visit the Sukamade plantation village (Afdeling).
    • Arrive at the guest house, take a shower, rest until dinner time. Dinner on Sukamade Guest house. Depart to Sukamade Beach by jeep (5 km).
    • Stop at Turtle hatchery or Park Ranger Office (possible to see the turtle hatchlings all the time of year). Walk to the beach (800 m) and sitting on the beach wait for the signals from park ranger who search for the turtle (Not allowed to smoke, turn on the flashlight, loud talking or making any loud noises). If we are lucky to find the turtle and watch the wonderful processing of laying eggs, we go back to guest house and have nice dream.

    Day 02. Sukamade Tour Package – Banyuwangi / Kalibaru (B,L)

    Wake up in the morning to witness baby turtle return to ocean. Breakfast on Sukamade Guest House. Check out and depart to Banyuwangi or Ketapang stop by at Rajegwesi beach. Drop at the hotel or Ketapang harbour. End of Tour. See you next time.

Trip then continued by riding on a horse back (Optional) to climb up till the rim of Mt. Bromo crater. Upon completion of Bromo Tour, return to hotel for breakfast and packing up, and checkout.       Breakfast at hotel, pack up and check out form hotel. Depart to Sukamade with lunch en-route. Visit Rajekwesi beach. Along the way, you may see endless plantation of coffee, cacao, and traditional rubber tapping. You may even travel through dense Meru Betiri National Forest where the last Javanese tigers are still believed to roam the area. Stop at Teluk damai (Peace Bay and its possible and recommend to walk on the jungle road (half to one hour walk). Upon arrival at Sukamade, check in at simple guest house. Evening after simple dinner at the guesthouse, proceed to the Sukamade Beach for the Turtle excursion (sightings are not guaranteed). See the turtles slowly walk up ashore to lay their eggs.
