What To See in Yogyakarta
Prambanan Temple – The biggest hindu’s temple in Indonesia consists of three main temples (vishnu, siva and brahma) and surrounded by small temple.
Yogyakarta Keraton Palace – The palace was built by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I from 1756 – 1790 with Java cosmo architecture and reflected for Javanese culture. Nowdays, this palace is still used as a house of Sultan Yogyakarta and a center of art and Javanese culture.
Taman Sari – A park site of Keraton Yogyakarta, it was used by Sri Sultan as a place to spend his leisure time to relax. The design of Taman Sari looks like water park which is decorated by flower.
Malioboro – the center of shopping area in Yogyakarta, lots of handicraft, souvenirs, clothes, and traditional food. Many artists showing their talents on music, painting and etc.
