What made Yogyakarta known at first as a touristic city is the existence of two amazing temples close by the city. Jogja is actually surrounded by many temples, but two most known temples in the world, Borobudur and Prambanan temple are in the front list. Each temple has its own history and cultural background. They attract many tourist every year to this beautiful city, Borobudur as it is a Buddhist temple and the Prambanan as a Hindu temple. You will visit them.

Destinations You Will Visit

After that you will also see Mount Merapi and its devastating eruption in Merapi Lava Tour. To explore more about The City of Gudeg, Jogja, you will be invited to visit Gunung Kidul, one of the several beautiful regions that surrounds the city. Gunung Kidul is known for her white sandy beaches, many caves, and other beautiful natural sceneries such as waterfalls. That is why in this Yogya 3D2N Adventure and City Tour you can have Jomblang Cave and Kalisuci cave tubing on the list.

Next thing you will have by taking this trip is to explore the city’s life. Of course you can not miss this. Keraton Yogyakarta, Tamansari, Malioboro, and Kotagede are some of the best destination in town you should witness with your own eyes. Kotagede mainly known for her silver jewellery handicraft. Visit this little village to see the process of how this silver is produced and to see historical site.

We end this tour by a visit to the most known street called Malioboro.  Not only to walk around you can also shop for souvenirs, batik, and traditional street food. At the end of this street you can find a traditional market called Bringharjo, where you can buy souvenirs, but also traditional snacks and herbs.

D1. Arrival – Merapi Lava Tour – Prambanan (L)

Arrive at Yogyakarta airport in the morning. Departure to Borobudur temple, a magnificent buddhist temple. Stop at Mendut and Pawon Temple. Lunch at local resto. Continue to Mount Merapi, then transfer to Jeep 4WD for adventure activity to explore Merapi after eruption in 2010. Last visit to Prambanan Temple, before we check in to the hotel. Free Program.

D2. Goa Jomblang – Kalisuci Cave Tubing (B,L)

After breakfast we will join to another adventure activity in Gunungkidul district, which is famous for limestone, caves and white sandy beaches. We will invite you to visit underground cave, vertical and horizontal caves, Jomblang Cave. You will witness a light from heaven. After lunch we will go to Timang beach, which is popular for lobster fisherman and the Gondola experience. Back to hotel in Yogyakarta. Free program.

D3. Keraton – Tamansari – Kotagede – Malioboro (B,L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and visit Sultan Palace of Yogyakarta. Then take cycle ricksaw to Tamansari waterpalace, a recreation place for royal family. Visit Leather Puppet home industry, batik industry, Kotagede an old town popular for silversmith. Then transfer to airport for your next destination.
