Bromo Tour from Yogyakarta. The Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park lies to the Southeast Surabaya. Its famous feature is the remarkable and vast “sand sea” (covers 10 km). Across which is the caldera of an ancient volcano (Tengger) where four newer volcanic cones have emerged. The massive also includes the highest mountain in Java, Semeru. Tengger sandy area have been protected since 1919, and it is believed to be the only conservation area in Indonesia, probably even in the world possessing a unique ocean and sand at the altitude of about 2,000 m above sea level. There are several mountains inside the calderas, namely: Mt. Bromo (2,392 m asl), Mt. Batok (2,470 m asl), Mt.Kursi (2,581m asl), Mt. Watangan (2,661m asl), and Mt. Widodaren (2,650 m asl). Walking on the sea of sand stepping up on the 249 steps to rim is worth to try. Bromo Tour From Yogyakarta Itinerary
Day 1: Yogyakarta – Transfer Bromo
We will begin Bromo Tour From Yogyakarta by picking you up in your hotel in Yogyakarta. You will meet our staff who brings you to Bromo area (around 9 hours drive). Check in homestay / hotel.
Day 2: Bromo Tour – Surabaya (B)
Early in the morning we will go to make an excursion to the MT. Bromo. We will drive first to the Mountain Pananjakan which has an excellent view for making pictures of the sunrise. After the sunrise we will drive to the Mountain Bromo through the sea of sand. This will be done by jeep. We will stop to at the foot of the Bromo. Visist Pura Luhur temple before we climb 246 steps to reach the rim of the mountain which gives you a great view (this will be depending on the activity of the Volcano). When you are finished we will go back to your hotel for breakfast. After checking out we will drive back to Surabaya. Optional: Visiting Madakaripura Waterfall in the way to Surabaya. End of Bromo tour 2 days 1 night.

Pick up in your hotel in Yogyakarta, you will meet our staff who brings you to Tugu Train station, from where you take your train to Surabaya. In surabaya our staff will be waiting to bring you to Bromo area (around 4 hours drive). Check in homestay / hotel.
Day 2: Bromo – Surabaya (B)
