3 Days 2 Nights Jogja Trekking Adventure. For the more adventurers and the sportive people, Yogyakarta is the place to be. Yogyakarta has many attractive, adventure and sportive activities to offer. During these 3 Days tour you are going to visit the two main adventures activities. Yogyakarta City is located in a fairly mountainous area, with the Merapi Volcano in the North and Gunung Kidul Area in the south.

Merapi Mountain is a still active Volcano with its latest eruption in 2010. The Merapi is a popular place for tourists who are in the mood for some adventure. Possible to go for a off-road tour by 4wd Jeep, but in this tour you will climb the mountain itself in the evening to be at the top for sunrise. The glow the sun brings as soon it starts to come up, gives an amazing beautiful panoramic view.

The second activity you cannot miss is a visit the beautiful Jomblang cave in Gunung Kidul area. This area is known for its caves, and the Jomblang cave is a special for sure. Go down into the cave for 60 – 80 meters and there the light of heaven will enfold.

Tour Itinerary

D.01 : ARRIVAL – PRAMBANAN – MOUNT MERAPI (L,D)

Arrival at Yogyakarta Airport. Meet and greet with our staff. During this 3 day adventure tour in Yogyakarta, you at least need to have visit one Temple. As we have some time left before we will departure to the Merapi, we first bring a visit to the Prambanan Temple. The Prambanan is the biggest Hindu temple. Then we will drive to the Merapi base camp where you can rest in a local homestay or wander around in the village. Lunch and dinner will be provide. Free program.

D.02 : TREKKING MOUNT MERAPI FOR SUNRISE – YOGYAKARTA (B)

At midnight, after some administration and preparation, we will take you to climb mount Merapi for sunrise. Start your adventure and enjoy the view from the top the most active volcano in Java Island. Back to Yogyakarta after walking down the Volcano in the morning. Check in hotel. Free program.

D.03 : JOMBLANG CAVING – TRANSFER OUT (B,L)

After breakfast it is time to check out from the hotel. We will leave Yogyakarta city for a transfer to Gunung Kidul regency. Here you will visit the well known Jomblang cave. After getting the opportunity to make some incredible beautiful pictures in side the cave and having local lunch, it is time to go back to Yogyakarta around 13.00. We finish the trip and continue to airport or train station for your next destination. End of Tour.
