Mount Raung Trekking. Raung mountain is located 3,332 meters above sea level, in the east of Java. It has a 2 kilometer wide and 500 meter deep crater surrounded by a rim. The flanks of this mountain is full with vegetation, but the rim is totally empty and exist only of stones. As east java has many vulcano’s, Raung is the highest of them all. Raung is surrounded by smaller mountains such as Suketand Gadung at the northeast and west side. Even from Lovina beach in the North of Bali, Raung mountain can be seen. This mountain is not easy to climb and so not for everyone. You must have a good condition, good health, like adventure and certain not afraid for heights.

Meeting point : Kalibaru

DAY 1 Kalibaru – Camp 7 Mount Raung Tour

• 07:00 – 07:45 Meeting Point At Basecamp Raung Expedition Kalibaru  (Please give us information the  hotel or homestay where you stay at kalibaru) Short morning briefing, be sure everything are ready
• 07:45 – 08:00 Take for some pictures all members before depart to Post 1, Ready to GO, the OJEK motor service are ready for leading us to Post 1.
• 08:15 – 08:15 Take for some pictures to all members before start at POST 1, build the team be solid , LETS PRAY and GOOO get the CAMP 2 (distance 4,62 km. elavation 30′ – 40′)
• 10:30 – 12:00 CAMP 2 – CAMP 3 (distance 1,2 km)
• 12:00 – 13:30 CAMP 3 – CAMP 4 (distance 1,5 km)
• 14:00 – 15:30 CAMP 4 – CAMP 5 (distance 0,75 km. elevation 30′ – 60′)
• 15:30 – 16:30 CAMP 5 – CAMP 6 (distance 1,4 km. elevation 50′ – 60′)
• 16:30 – 17:30 CAMP 6 – CAMP 7 (distance 1 km. elevation 50′ – 70′)
• 17:30 Arrive CAMP 7 build the tends, prepare for dinner
• 19:00 – 02:00 REST TIME, prepare yourself and team to charge for new energy

DAY 2 Camp 7 Mount Raung – Summit Mount Raung – Camp 7

• 02:00 – 03:00 WAKE UP TIME and prepare everything for SUMMIT ATTACK. DON’T FORGET YOUR STUFF AND LOGISTIC
• 03:00 – 04:00 CAMP 7 – CAMP 8 (distance 1 km, elavation 50′ – 80′)
• 04:00 – 05:00 CAMP 8  – CAMP 9 (distance 1 km, elavation 50′ – 80′)
• 05:00 – 05:10 CAMP 9 – PEAK (MEMBERS wear the body rope, carabineer, webbing and glove for safety)NO NOISY VOICES ARE ALLOWED DURING THESE ROUTE
• 05:10 – 05:30 Make some pictures of the SUNRISE
• 05:30 – 06:00 All members MUST wait and move together from this point!!! THE MOST EXTREME TRACKS ARE GOING TO BEGIN
• 06:00 – 10:00 FLAG PEAK – through the SIROTHOL PATH,
• 10:00 – 11:30 THE SEJATI PEAK 3344 MASL –  “GOOD JOB TEAMS” Capture your best moment and enjoy your lunch at the TOP of the Mountain
• 11:30 – 17:00 The SEJATI PEAK – CAMP 7 (the last camp)
• 17:00 – 22:00 REST, DINNER TIME, Chat with Group. Could be take more time than 5 hr. Make your own dinner
• 22:00 – 05:00 Make your body relax “GOOD NIGHT GUYS – see you in the morning”

DAY 3 Going Down to Camp 1 – Wonorejo Village – Waterfall – Basecamp

• 05:00 – 06:00 WAKE UP TIME
• 06:00 – 08:00 Make the breakfast and enjoy it, repacking and please bring all your wastes / trashes back down. Please check everything has To be load up
• 08:00 – 15:00 GO BACK DOWN from CAMP 7 – Post 1. By OJEK motor service
• 15:00 – 16:00 POST 1 – Wonorejo village, on the way back to base camp we’ll make stop a while at the WATERFALL (Tirto Kemanten).
• 16:00 – 17:00 Wonorejo village – Base camp by OJEK motor service
• 17:00 – 19:00 Base camp, Make your body clean, sharing pictures, etc
• 19:00 – 20:00 DINNER ala KAMPOENG  As the service of the trip.
• 20:00 – 00:00 Free Program

 What to take with you :

• Comfortable trekking shoes
• Trekking poles
• Windbreaker / jacket, sweater,
• Gloves, ear cover, sun glasses
• Flash Light
• Sun screen / Insect repellent
• Camera etc
• Personal toiletries, medicine
• Must carry big bottle with water and extra snacks for more energy during the trekking.
• Optional: your flag or sign fir making pictures on the top
